Interchangeable Knitting Needles
Knitter's Pride Cubics Special Interchangeable Circular Needle Tips
Knitter's Pride Cubics Special Interchangeable Circular Needle Tips are shorter than the regular tips and measure 16" from tip to tip when assembled with a 16" cord. They have a cuboid shape in the body of the needle that gradually gives way to perfectly tapered birch wood points. The ergonomic shape is comfortable to hold, lessens the need to grip tightly, and yields uniform stitch formation. The densified, laminated wood is rich in appearance, yet it is also lightweight, strong, flexible, and warm to the touch. Needle size is measured diagonally and fits into standard needle sizer just like round needles. It's best to tighten your needles by holding the base. Click here to see how it's done.
WEBS cannot verify or guarantee that any other company’s needles or cords will work with Knitter’s Pride needles. But if you’ve purchased a Knitter’s Pride product from us, we guarantee the product 100% with our no-questions-asked replacement policy.

I think these needles are wonderful as long as you treat them gently. I knit very loosely (as do many people with arthritis) so these work perfectly for me. I am currently using size 3 needles for two different projects. Smaller than that might be risky. I came here today to order size 10, size 10.5 and size 11. My Kollage size 10 fell apart in the middle of a project so I am willing to give these a shot. Plus Kollage does not make sizes above 10.

I want to love these. And I do.... when I am able to knit with them without the needle snapping FOUR TIMES! One arrived broken, two broke at the join during normal knitting maneuvers, one one broke at the join sometime when it was in my project bag during the day.
Since I am no Bruce Banner, I think there must be some structural/design flaw causing a weakness right at the join (and possible not thee strongest wood beeing used). I love these interchangeables (nice flexible but not floppy cords, securely attach and provide a smooth join), but I am going to have to stick with metal ones.

Comments about Knitter's Pride Cubics Special Interchangeable Circular Needle Tips:
I had two needles break easily. I own other wood interchangeable needles and have never had that experience, although I'm less than cautious with their storage. Disappointing since I love the cuboid shape and am on the lookout for the perfect interchangeable set.

Cons
- Break easily
- Cord pulls out

Comments about Knitter's Pride Cubics Special Interchangeable Circular Needle Tips:
I love knitting with these needles, however having them break is very disappointing. The first time it happened, I thought it was just a bad needle. After the third time, I gave up on them. I also had the cord pull out of one of the joins.
Pros
- Nice to knit with
- Smooth join
Cons
- Easily break
- Problematic design
- Size label wears off
