Interchangeable Knitting Needles
Knitter's Pride Symfonie Rose Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set
Knitter's Pride Symfonie Rose Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set is an ideal gift for any knitter. This boxed set of 8 pairs of densified, laminated wood needles comes in a leatherette case with an elegant Symfonie Rose Shawl Pin. The smooth, metal join on the needles is copper tinted and the deep brown cables complement the needle tips. The polished wood of the needles is rich in appearance, yet lightweight and strong. The complete set includes 4.5" needle tips in US sizes 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5 and 11. In addition to the case and shawl pin, this set also contains 4 cables (one 24", two 32”, and one 40"), 8 end caps, 4 cable keys, and a cable storage pouch. It's best to tighten your needles by holding the base. Click here to see how it's done.

Comments about Knitter's Pride Symfonie Rose Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
These needles are not just pretty, they are very nice to work with. Smooth action, much nicer point than Addi Lace and the cables are very relaxed and flexible. That was the main reason I look at needles made by this manufacturer in the first place. I got tired of fighting with curled up cables. When it comes to quality and the performance of these needles they get a "10". On appearance, nothing is more beautiful than the dark rich color of Rosewood. However there are two small problems with this set. If you want to order extra cables, they are black, not the reddish color. And if you order extra tips, the connectors are silver, not the copper color. So on strictly appearance they get a "9".

Comments about Knitter's Pride Symfonie Rose Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
I received this set as a gift, and it's honestly one of the best gifts I've ever been given. On first glance, the set is breathtakingly beautiful. The wood is silky, the joins are smooth, and the box is sturdy and well-made - much better than any other interchangeable case I've ever encountered. This is something you could proudly display.Assembling the needles is easy, and requires no tools aside from the little metal keys included. The cables screw into the tips easily, but not so easily that they're likely to come undone while you're working, unlike what has happened to me with other sets.Working with them is a dream. The joins are smooth, the cables very flexible, and the silky smooth finish on the wood all make these needles wonderful to use.The only flaw I can find with them is one that I've found with all wood needles - the tips are beautifully sharp at first, but they do tend to dull a bit as you work with them. I haven't had them long enough to see just how far it will go, but even so, I'm sure that these will have a long, long life ahead of them, and will see many a project before they're finally retired.Overall, though, these are a great investment, and also a great gift idea.

I've been knitting for over 35 years since I was a child. My husband just got these for me for Christmas and they are the best needles I have ever used. They are virtually frictionless, making knitting superfast and creates consistent stitches. I don't think I can ever go back to my other needles after using these.

Cons

Comments about Knitter's Pride Symfonie Rose Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
This is a good product for price and I like the finish on the needles - easy to use and slides well but not so polished as to slide off. Box is nice, but case would have been better. Like the case for the accessories.
Pros
- Cable flex
- High Quality
- Joins are good
- Storage box
Cons
- No cable connectors inc

Comments about Knitter's Pride Symfonie Rose Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
I've owned the Denise interchangeables and while they got me through, I was always unhappy with them. The joins would come apart, the cable was thick and stiff and I just don't like the feel of plastic. For only [$], this set is a great investment and I kick myself for not getting it sooner. The needles are beautiful, not too slick, the joins are perfect, and I love the amount of flex in the cables. The box is gorgeous and is a nice addition to what otherwise looks like a ratty pile of circs. The shawl pin is very nice too. I would highly recommend these to any knitter. I only wish a couple of cable connectors had been included, since I didn't think about it until I went to use them and now have to order them separately. For such cheap parts, seems it makes sense to include at least a couple of them.
Pros
- Beautiful storage box
- Sharp tips
- Smooth connection
- Smooth finish
- Very flexible cables
Cons
- Only goes up to size 11

Comments about Knitter's Pride Symfonie Rose Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
These needles are truly affordable luxury! The finish is perfect; smooth without being slippery with just the right amount of "drag". Couldn't wait to use them and I've already finished my first project, a lace cowl. The points are pretty sharp so yarn overs were executed with ease. The cables are really flexible from the get go. I have several sets of interchangeable circulars, including Addi's. I'd say these rank right up there with the Addi's for much less money. Bottom line is I would highly recommend these interchangeables for anyone purchasing their first set or adding to a collection!
Pros
- Appearance
- durability
- price
- Smoothness
Cons
- Screw connection
- Tightening tool

Comments about Knitter's Pride Symfonie Rose Interchangeable Circular Deluxe Set:
I'll admit. I'd love to get the Lantern Moon Ebony set of interchangeables, but who has [$]to invest in the set. This is a wonderful and more feasible alternative. These needles are gorgeous and practical. Considering that most interchangeable sets on the market have the screw-in connection, the fact that these do as well isn't such a big deal. Those that complain about their interchangeables coming unscrewed are probably moving their needles too much anyway. These have long threads to the screw attachment, so you'd have to be turning your needles at least ten full turns for them to come undone and drop stitches. If you're used to using fixed circular needles, this set is not going to be any problem whatsoever.Don't be afraid of the "wood laminate" phrase; you won't be able to tell that they're laminate unless you pull out your reading glasses. They have an organic look and feel while having the wonderful benefit of strength. Taking the smallest size needle in my hand, I can push in the middle of the needle and there is relatively no flex. They're quite sturdy.I'd recommend this set to anyone. I took a gamble on this set, and I'm not sorry at all. It's a gorgeous and useful set for knitters on a budget.
