Nova Knitting Needles (nickel plated brass metal)
Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 47"
Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles have a flexible cable and nickel plated brass tips that have a great point and are speedy to knit with. The smooth join enables stitches to glide freely from cable to needle without snagging. In addition, the needle size is etched on the connector for easy spotting. These needles are also available in 16", 24", 32" and 40" lengths.

The one thing I don't like to do is to stitch up a sweater when I have finished all the pieces. With these needles I don't have to :)I knit the complete sweater in the round, Yea!

Cons
Best Uses
- Knitting A Heavy Afghan
Comments about Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 47":
I ordered these needles to make a heavy woolen afghan and do not care to use straight needles. The cables do not buckle as longer cables can be inclined to do. Further the needles are slick and increase speed. A great prodouct - no complaints!

I will be ordering other sizes in this needle because they are so superior.
I LOVE circulars, and longs ones for socks, knitting two sweater fronts or wide items ( throws and afghans).

Cons
- Needle head join snags

Comments about Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 47":
I purchased a size US 2 @ 47 inch long for very fine weight shawls
On the size 2 the needle shaft join is not smoothly enough connected to the wire..its just an open circlet of metal with a larger circumference than the wire, which snags and prevents smooth moving forward of the still on the wire stitches.
In fairness (unless you spend $10++ per pair for the very high end) this is almost always a problem on US4 or less circs- the joins are nearly always 'off' in some way that prevents easy movement of stitches just because they are so small and tight along the wire.
The cord is great, nice and flexible. The larger sizes I have of these are fine and I'd recommend them in any size larger than a US 3.
Pros
- Cord is flexible
- Even stitches
- reasonable price
- Very smooth
- Yarn glides over them
Cons
- Sharply pointed tips
Best Uses
- All knitting
Comments about Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 47":
I purchased these because I needed a longer length needle and I prefer circular needles. I normally only purchase Addi needles and these are just as smooth and the cord is almost as good. The tips of the needles are quite pointed. I didn't realize how much I touch the tip until I used these needles and my fingertips became sore. I had to adjust the way I knit slightly and then they worked very well for me.
Pros
- Decent flexible cable
- Economical
- Wide range of lenghts
- Wide range of needle size
Cons
- Cable a bit inflexible
- Poor instore availability
Best Uses
- Garments
- Sweaters
Comments about Knitter's Pride Nova Fixed Circular Needles 47":
This line is a recent addition at WEBS. It's not a bad needle-and is made in many sizes and lengths.
These are not comparable to an Addi Turbo.I find the cable is a bit to stiff and inflexible for 2AAT socks, but for a sweater or wrap, it is perfect.
I found that the needle itself is short-hard to use if you have long hands.
The needle join is nice and is available in a wide range of lengths. It is also very reasonably priced compared to the Addi Turbo.
The in store availabilty of the sizes isn't that great. Many of the larger needles (including size 7) had empty hooks.
I would recommend that you try a pair.
