I'm fairly new to knitting, so when I selected my first pair of needles (I've borrowed from friends up to this point), I just picked whatever matched what the yarn and pattern called for and what my budget allowed.
Honestly, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the needles were surprisingly nice for the price I paid. They're very sturdy. I tend to push my project to the back of the needle to stop me from dropping stitches and the wooden stoppers in the back don't feel at all lose or like they're about to fall off.
Overall, it is a great product and I plan on sticking with the brand if I ever need to get another set of needles.

I bought these (a few different sizes)to use for my lacy shawl and blanket projects. My experience with various yarns or needles is very limited, but I have no issue so far. I am currently using a nylon/acrylic synthetic yarn and not feeling too slippery. It might be a bit heavier than wood, but I like the weight. And as a novice, I was afraid to break the wood/bamboo/plastic needles, so this is the perfect material as well.

I needed straight needles in the smallest sizes. These seem good and look good. I've used them and just ordered more. Every knitter likes a certain kind of material. I''m not much for wood (except ebony, which I tend to break). So if you like metal, these are great metal needles.
