Let Block 'n Roll make your beautiful projects look even better. The generous surface area of Block 'n Roll can accommodate projects of many sizes. Projects may be pinned directly onto the surface of the mat. The 20mm X 20mm grid is very useful in lining up and keeping straight edges, hems and seams.
The Teflon coated surface is heat and water resistant.This allows for steam, wet blocking and pressing. For best results, let your project remain on the mat until it is dry. If you've been thinking about purchasing a blocking board, but aren't sure where you would store it, the Block 'n Roll mat may be a good alternative for you. Due to its rolled up size, it should be easy to find a place to store Block 'n Roll so it will be readily available when you need it again.

The description says that the mat is heat resistant, yet the item I received showed a scorch mark from an iron. Someone else had obviously tried the product and returned it.
The mat is very very thin and light weight. It's not thick enough to hold pinning to block a substantial project. It would only be ok for a light shawl that doesn't require stretching to open up the lace. Otherwise, you'll need to place bricks or something on the corners so the mat doesn't roll up.

Bought this blocking mat for price and ease of storage. I have never used a mat before for blocking and have found this mat to be easy to use and big enough for most of my projects. Rolls right up and stores easily when I am not using it.

This product is perfect if you want a large board with gridlines, whithout buying the more expensive solid board.
Since it's not solid, you have to put it on a flat surface (bed, floor, large table...) otherwise the unsupported edges will not stay flat.

This service was super until it reached the UK when item sat in Customs Clearance for 6 days than was help up by Royal Mail constacting me to say how much I had to pay on tax and admin charge.

I bought this blocking pad to make it easier to block unusually shapes, and for easy storage. Blocking is easier with this item, and storing is very easy. When I purchased the pad, I did not realize that the grid was not in 1" squares. Blocking items would be even easier if the squares measured 1 inch.
