Comments about Boye Carabiner Stitch Markers:

I use the PM in crochet and knitting and attempting to use in sewing. They are a bit large for tatting.

      Not smooth--snags yarn

Comments about Boye Carabiner Stitch Markers:

I purchased these to use with Berroco Vintage DK yarn to make a pair of crocheted mittens. Granted, I haven't crocheted in YEARS, but stitch markers ought to be pretty easy to use even so. I didn't like these at all; they have rough plastic bits and are definitely not smooth enough to use with yarn. They catch the yarn and snag it no matter how careful you are. I gave up and used some endless hoop earrings with a couple of different colored beads as markers for my project.

Comments about Boye Carabiner Stitch Markers:

So far these carabiner stitch markers seem sturdy - they are flexible enough that I'm not afraid of breaking them. A bit on the large size, they would be perfect for a worsted-weight or bulky-weight project.
