Comments about Queensland Collection Kathmandu Chunky Tweed:
I am almost finished my sweater. I have hand-washed and dried pieces flat between towels. That is all the blocking I found necessary. Love the softness and drape.

I make a button down cardigan and it came out very well. It knit up very quickly and was very warm without being too heavy.

Comments about Queensland Collection Kathmandu Chunky Tweed:
I made an Arian oversized sweater with this yarn. I am always afraid the yarn will stretch when wearing a sweater. So far, the yarn has not stretched. The color is a bit unusual. The texture is soft. This yarn is beautiful. I highly recommend it.

Comments about Queensland Collection Kathmandu Chunky Tweed:
I am making a rowen sweater coat with this yarn and so far it is knitting
up very nicely and holding its shape well. The colors are a bit softer than I thought from the picture but still very pretty.

Comments about Queensland Collection Kathmandu Chunky Tweed:
I've used this yarn to make a bunch of hats and scarves for Christmas gifts. It makes beautiful soft, warm winter wear. I love the tweed look and the colors chosen for the color specks in the yarn go with the primary color wonderfully. Now that Christmas is over, I've ordered enough in Sienna to make my own hat and scarf.

Wanted blue gray yarn for a turban type hat. Yarn a bit coarse while knitting but softened beautifully once blocked. Color subtle. worked up perfectly.

Comments about Queensland Collection Kathmandu Chunky Tweed:
I have used the lighter weight Kathmandu for tops and fingerless mitts and love the sheen and softness.
When my granddaughter expressed a liking for bulky sweaters and I saw the bulky Kathmandu I knew this was the yarn even before I had a pattern.
It is easy to work with and at this weight fast to work up.

Comments about Queensland Collection Kathmandu Chunky Tweed:
Pleased with the stitch definition and rustic feel of the wool, the only down side I have experienced is the small amounts of grass I have had to pick out during knitting.
