I'm using this yarn to make a vest as shown in the Knit 'n Style magazine in the green. I was surprised when the yarn arrived because there is more sparkle than I expected from looking at the pictures online. However, it's definitely something you can wear during the day and the unexpected pop of metallic makes it distinctive. The yarn is processed in Italy so I trusted that it would be excellent and it is. So far the yarn is working up very nicely. It feels a bit scratchy but once it's washed an blocked (as I found from doing the gauge swatch) it softens and feels good against the skin. I'm very excited to complete this project.

I am knitting a lap blanket with this yarn and I am very pleased with how it's turning out. The color is bright and beautiful and the color changes keep it interesting, the amount sparkle is just right - not so much that it's gaudy, and not so little that it's unnoticeable - and it's significantly softer than I expected a sparkly yarn to be. Also it holds up well to frogging (says the knitter who is careless about pattern instructions). I notice that it does tend to split if I'm not careful, and it twists.

This is a very pretty light glittery yarn that makes a gorgeous scarf that is soft but warm. It would make a lovely eye-catching sweater, too.

I bought three balls to work on a project. It turned out fabulous but I ran out before I could finish and now it seems that Webs no longer carries this item. Please bring Kertzer Tiara in Emerald back:) The draw backs to this yarn is that it snags a little but if you have patience the finished project is worth it.

I made a hooded cowl with the Onyx colored skeins I ordered - finished product is colorful and sparkly, but not so sparkly that it's rough or uncomfortable against bare skin. easy to knit with, the color changes kept me very interested in my project. will definitely buy more when they replenish stock of this item.

I chose this yarn for the contrast between the orange and ruby portions in the photographed skein. My 3 skeins are dark ruby red with faded ruby red. I feel the photo was misleading
