This pretty yarn knits up quickly and is machine washable. However, it the fibers tend to unwind and split so you have to watch every stitch you make.

The two reasons I like this yarn is, I didn't find a single knot in the entire skein, and it is a double length skein, so I only had to change to a new ball just once! Love that!
