The first skein had 3 knotted ends in it. Before I started the second, I unwound it and found only 1 knotted end. I hope the latter will be the case with the other skeins or I will have to weave in several ends when I finish the sweater.

Having a need for chemo caps, I ordered many yarns to try out. This one was my absolute favorite. It is soft, comfortable, non itchy, and much better than plain cotton since it holds its shape. I will order more sometime to make chemo caps for others. It would be great for kids caps as well because of the comfort factor.

A nice alternative to a heavy wool yarn. Soft and comfortable to wear, like an old sweatshirt. Looks good in cables and textured stitches. It does "grow" a lot when worn, especially widthwise. Washing will put it back into shape, but expect sweaters to fit very differently after a few hours of wear. If I remade the sweaters I've knit from it, I would make them a couple of inches narrower and a couple of inches longer to compensate.

This is a very soft yarn with a vibrant color. I love that the yardage is significant, so I don't have so many breaks to a project. Textures, however, like cables, do not show up well in this yarn.

This is one of my favorite yarns! The tweed flecking is lovely. It adds a nice subtle touch without looking bland or too overpowering. Rarely, but sometimes, small pokey pieces of recycled fiber show up in the yarn. Not enough though to keep me from using Remix!

I have used this for a baby blanket, as well as a brioche knitted circular cowl. I loved it for the blanket: it is soft on baby's skin, has a wonderful drape, machine washes and dries extremely well, and also blocks very well.

I did not like it as much for the cowl. While it is great to have around my neck, it does not have the elasticity of wool. So, once it stretched out it didn't go back, which does not flatter brioche stitching like a wool would. This is fine for me, but I wouldn't knit a cowl or anything tight-fitting with it again.

First - SHIPPING TIME WAS GREAT! I generally do not like to knit with cotton (am usually put in the mind of dishcloths)but one of my daughters has wool allergies and she lives in Arkansas where cooler is better. My project for her is a hooded sweater. This yarn is delightful to work with. It puts me in mind of a well-worn sweatshirt.

Knitted dress for 6 yr old g/d in the orange and cabled sweater for husband in gray. Found the soft and funky makeup pleasing to work with. Has been machine washed and hung to dry repeatedly and maintains shape and softness. Ideal weight and composition for warm weather "winters". Will use again for myself soon. If it goes on sale, I'm definitely stashing this one!

Can't say enough good things about this yarn. It has the softness of cotton with the strength of wool so it won't "grow" as you knit up your project. A very good yarn for the men in your life.

Is also great for doubling up to make into a bulky weight for a jacket. Even with doubling it has a great feel.
