This is the absolute best cotton yarn--usually cotton is a little more difficult to work with, but not this stuff--it's the softest (reminds me of some of the cotton/acrylic blends) 100% cotton yarn on the market. Great handle; has a slight give and the knitted items are pretty and touchable.

Feels very soft while crocheting. Finished product is very soft. Gave a scarf I made to my mom and just after a day it looked worn with little pills or fuzzies on it. Looked like it was a year old. I didn't wash it, so I don't know it works after washing. I also made a beanie for a friend and it turned out very nice with a tight hdc stitch. I don't know how it looks after wear as I haven't seen it. I would recommend depending on what you are making with it, but otherwise not really.

Comments about Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme:
Very soft, great colour and great to knit with, but I've been noticing quite a bit of fluff coming off it. Still definitely worth the price, and lovely yarn.

Bought this yarn as a cheaper alternative to the pima cotton called for in a place mat set wedding gift. Works up evenly and stays very flexible.

Comments about Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme:
I used this yarn to make a baby blanket, and it was a pleasure to work with. Even though I made several mistakes and had to take out several rows, the yarn held up perfectly. The blanket turned out beautifully, and I will happily use this yarn again and again.

Comments about Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme:
I had first thought to use this yarn in a top. It is very soft and drapes well but I live in the tropics and it's just a little too thick to be comfortable. I used it to make a knitted baby blanket in garter stitch instead and I really love the way it felt knitting with it and the way it looked afterwards. I would use this yarn in a cardigan

Comments about Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme:
I made a simple summer sweater with this yarn. It's supposed to be machine washable, but both the shedding and stretching mean that hand washing might make more sense. I made this for someone else who isn't experienced at washing hand knit garments. I hope she won't be disappointed after she washes it!

Comments about Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme:
I use this product to knit caps for chemo patients. Cotton is the material of choice since it does not scratch or itch sensitive heads. This is by far my favorite product for this use. Unfortunately, it is a little pricey for donating my work to charity, but I often do it anyway!
