i was surprised at the the softness of this yarn. i ended up getting the hank tangled and during untangling the yarn began to shed. I was going to make a bag out of this but the yarn sheds bits of fluff that would probably stick to clothing.

I was astonished at it's softness. I hadn't knit with cotton for ages because it's heavy, sags and doesn't feel good on the skin. This product is a dream for summer sweaters or any clothing item requiring the same gauge and weight. Especialy nice for baby items as well. I most certainly will buy it again. In fact I bought 5 skeins of the most beautiful pale green which I am not sure what to make with it yet. Wonderful product.

I am using this yarn to crochet a semi-vest/semi-poncho. Using an H hook, I found that my "sleeve" portion stretched out too much and had to be re-worked. But it crochets so quickly and easily that it was not a big deal. Very good touch. I might try a G hook next time. I bought it because it was cotton, on sale and I liked the color.

I made this for a baby blanket and I agree that it is quite soft. I loved to feel it. Not usual for cotton, but after working on it I had to brush off all the lint. Not a big deal but I normally don't have that trouble. Would use it again for a baby, soft PLUS machine washable. Can't beat that for a new mom.

This is the absolute best cotton yarn--usually cotton is a little more difficult to work with, but not this stuff--it's the softest (reminds me of some of the cotton/acrylic blends) 100% cotton yarn on the market. Great handle; has a slight give and the knitted items are pretty and touchable.

Have knit rolled edge pullover hoodie from Debbie Bliss "Special Knits" with this exquisite cotton. Sweater looks better than with the recommended yarn and is a favorite for the wee one who received it!! Will definitely make this a go to yarn for future baby gifts!! ;-)
