Comments about Jojoland Melody Superwash:

Warning: photos do not represent the actual colors! I ordered color #27, which looks like a nice multi in the photo. In reality it's only 2 colors: red and green. It looks awful, like blood on astroturf. Not only that, but as I wound it into a ball, I found two knots and one break in a single skein. I would not recommend buying this.

This was a gift but it stretches too much. Am an avid sock knitter but have a hard time with this yarn. Will make a scarf instead as it was a gift.

this yarn has the lovely gradual color-changes and for that i like it very much. but it is not really a 'superwash' yarn, as the items i washed became felted. so use that as a warning: hand-wash your items made of melody superwash!

This is BEAUTIFUL yarn (I used color #08) and it never failed to draw attention when I was knitting in public. I made a pair of socks and although the yarn is not extremely soft, they were very comfortable. Unfortunately, they began to felt when I machine washed them. Thy still fit, however and are are softer now that they are half-felted. I love this yarn. I'd make socks again with it, with the caveat that they be hand washed.

I love, love, love the color changes of this yarn. So gradual yet stunning. True, this yarn is not soft like merino, but is a lovely wool, not scratchy. It would be great for shawls, scarves, mittens, hats, but not for someone with super sensitive skin.

The color changes in this yarn are spectacular, and make beautiful subtle stripes, but the yarn is not exceptionally soft, a little more rough like a typical wool.
