Tahki Cotton Classic is a smooth mercerized yarn that is perfect for my warp-faced weavings. It is soft to touch yet stands up very well to the abrasion of string heddles and the very close sett of warp faced fabrics. Its rich colors are perfectly suited to the ethnic style pick-up weaves that I do.

This continues to be a great yarn, soft on the hands, knits up like wool and has beautiful stitch definition. I knit a sweater for my husband with cotton classic about 20 years ago. It still looks like new, absolutely no pilling. I can't recommend it highly enough.
