Made decorative scarves. One skein will make two scarfs.
Comments about Knitting Fever Flounce Metallic:
I have an envelope to send with the four knotts and three long tears I encountered in this ball of yarn as I was knitting...very disppointing.
Pros
- Makes a great scarf
Cons
- It's purple not blue
- Many holes to deal with
Best Uses
- A ruffle scarf
Comments about Knitting Fever Flounce Metallic:
This makes a fabulous fun and fast scarf but the quality of the yarn is frustrating. Be prepared to cut out areas that run, use fray check on both ends before continuing. Because the scarf is so highly ruffled you can't see the breaks in the yarn.

Pros
- Fast and easy
- Great for gifts
- Great project
- Lovely yarn
- Works up beautifully

Comments about Knitting Fever Flounce Metallic:
I originally found this yarn while visiting the UK. Only bought 1 skein, then could not find it locally. Was thrilled to find it on line at WEBS. And while it was backordered, it was worth the wait... Lovely colors... and I am excited to have received it. The scarf draws a crowd when you wear it... Everyone wants to know "where did you get that yarn?".
Pros
- Easy to knit
- Makes average length
- Pretty color gradation
- Very sparkley
Cons
- Expensive
- NARROW
Best Uses
- Scarf
Comments about Knitting Fever Flounce Metallic:
I ordered two balls of this yarn. One ball was fine, the other ball had strands of the silver glitter thread hanging out. I guess it was an accident in manufacturing on the one ball. I just cut off the loose strands and it's fine. My one big hang up is the cost for such a small amount of yarn, but that seems to be the trend with this ruffle scarf yarn. I can't help but wonder if we're being suckered????
