The instructions (with no illustration or picture) say: "spread open mesh. Turn sideways (what way is "sideways"?? Cast on 8 sts across the top edge using US10 needle. Knit thru the top of the mesh, one needle-tip apart for first row, then one needle tip length for the rest of the knitting. Knit every row. Ruffle scarf is approximately 6" wide." I was so looking forward to working with this unique ruffle, but it looks like this purchase was a bust :(

This yarn looked interesting in the picture but looks AWFUL as a scarf. Because it is cotton, I guess, it just smashes down, doesn't fluff, just looks old and worn out. NOT the look you want in a ruffle yarn. Guess I should have expected this with cotton. It's like string......Too bad, because the colors are very nice. Very disappointing, and expensive!!
