This was awesome yarn to use. It didn't split easily, and knit up fast. I made a slouchy hat for a friend. The colors are vibrant and cheerful!

          Comments about Araucania Cau Cau:

I'm in the process of making a long heavy shawl with cau cau which I will line with raw silk in the predominant color of the multicolor dyed combination wool and silk yarn. I've other color combinations of cau cau and I'll be using those and shawl patterns from around the world to make others... some I'll line and some I will not. I am NOT a heavily experienced knitter. This will be around 8 feet long and almost 3 and feet wide after it's been sized. It will be hand washable and a work of art. this is being done on 5.5mm needles, so it's not a fast build knit... be patient!

            Comments about Araucania Cau Cau:

I am using this yarn to make a summer shawl. I'm using much bigger needles than recommended in order to make it lighter and lacier. I'm so happy with the results. It is very soft, has wonderful drape and feels delicious against the skin.

I received this yarn just recently. The color blends are absolutely beautiful. It's very soft to the touch. Butlike another comment said, I believe this yarn is listed incorrectly as worsted weight. It's definitely more of a DK/Sport weight. So take caution when ordering. I'm just going to double up when I start my project.

                Comments about Araucania Cau Cau:

I'm making a summery top with this, beautiful yarn, great to knit with. Have wound 4 skeins so far and no nots.

Stripes nicely. Only negative (which is minor) is that the weight is more DK/Sport than worsted, fine for me, but good to know if buying.
