Pros
- Very soft
Cons
- Skeins Very Inconsistent
Best Uses
- Small projects
Comments about Araucania Liwen:
This is a very soft yarn that is easy to work with. I made a sweater for my daughter and struggled to blend the colors which are highly inconsistent across skeins. The difference in tone across skeins was so great, it was as if I was using different colors. This yard would work best on small projects where you would be using only one skein per item (eg a hat or mittens), or if you could choose your own matching skeins rather than order then online, as I did.
Pros
- Makes Great Scraves
Cons
Best Uses
- Scraves And Hats

Comments about Araucania Liwen:
The colours in their shades are just wonderful. Both the thick thin structure and the colours in their shades make an interesting design and you just knit without using a difficult pattern while watching TV. The quality of the fibres (only natural ones) is outstanding and keeps you warm in winter. Don't be afraid of washing it!! when you don't have a special wahing liquid - just use shampoo (always in cold or handwarm water). So your work is not in vain - you will have it for years AND with this easy to use yarn it's a unique piece.

Comments about Araucania Liwen:
I knit a sweater in 3 days with this. It's an oversize, yet this yarn is so nice and light it doesn't weigh a ton. It's dyed evenly, mostly. I did notice a bit of pooling from one skein, but it's minor. Do be aware, however, that it can happen. I also discovered this yarn can get quite fuzzy. Not just a halo, it's a bloody corona, and there is considerable shedding. I used size 13 needles to knit this, because I wanted a large stitch, airy feel and that's exactly what I got. A smaller needle size might cut the shedding down.
In spite of the aforementioned,I really like this yarn.

Just received my order and these looked better than I expected. Nice even dying, not splotchy.
Soft. Even the twists are decorative.
