It's a bit scratchy. Knits up nicely BUT it sheds a lot while knitting - hope it doesn't shed while wearing.

I would call this yarn "good." Not great, and not terrible. It looks nice knitted up, and doesn't stretch out like pure alpaca would. Agree with the tingle remark -- imagine the feeling of a mohair blend.

The color pattern looks great on the finished project. I just finished a sweater and it keeps you warm. It really feels nice. There's a bit of a tingle (recommend to wear a t-shirt underneath) but I expected that from alpaca. Overall it's a great yarn.

This yarn is scratchy and hairy. Not good for next to the skin. Cheap though if you are freezing...
