Austermann Step
Beautiful color combinations and seemingly random stripes give this sock yarn a unique look, but what really makes Step unique is what else was added to the mix. Step is impregnated with Aloe Vera and Jojoba Oil, giving the yarn a soft feel while working and keeping your feet conditioned even through 40 washes. One ball will make a pair of adult socks. Austermann Step is a great yarn for socks. The yarn contains jojoba, which keeps hands soft during knitting. I've made several pairs of socks from this yarn and none have worn holes in the soles. After washing, the yarn has a slight halo, but retains it's shape.
