A soft and airy wool blend, Berroco Lacey works up quickly into a dramatic cascade of ruffles. There's a free pattern for a scarf on the inside of the yarn label. The pattern uses just one hank and features both knit and crochet instructions. Made in Italy.

This yarn is an easy knit or crochet for scarves. I ordered this in several different colors to knit for Christmas gifts. This worked out well until I got to the charcoal color; the skein I got had defects all the way through it. The sparkled edge was not attached to the charcoal yarn. It looked like it didn't get tied in properly when woven or it was cut improperly when made?? Either way, it was not fit to knit for a gift.

This was light, soft, and the color is beautiful, however it was damaged! Doesn't seem to be a problem for most, but I was disappointed. I was able to repair it and make the scarf. If I was not trying to make a last-minute gift, I would have returned it.

This is a good quality ruffle yarn, but as far as impact, it ain't there. Other brans have sequins, bobbles, etc. This yarn could be a little less sedate and a lot more bold!

Ordered the yarn because a co-worker showed us the ruffly scarf she had made with it and told us how easy it was to make. It was super simple and the results are outstanding. I'm making 2 full-size and 2 half-size for the little ones in my life.

I found it very helpful to unwind the yarn and put it on a paper towel center that still had about two inches of paper towel on it. It could sit on it's own and I could unroll as I crocheted it. This made it work up faster. Yarn was a lot of fun to use and made up beautiful. wished I had bought more nice Christmas Gifts.
