Comments about Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece:
I am using this yarn to make a prayer sweater for my sister-in-law suffering a relapse of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I wanted to make something for her to wear during the spring and summer that would be warm enough to ward off the chill of chemotherapy but cool enough for summer temps. Brown Sheep cotton fleece is the only cotton I will work with. I can't get enough of the drape and visual reflectiveness of this cotton yarn. The sweater is nearly done and I am not disappointed. Think glorious drape and luscious hand. Thank you Brown Sheep Wool Company for your fine product. I feel certain my sister-in-law will love the fiber and each prayer stitch that makes it a wearable prayer.

Comments about Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece:
This yarn is really a nice one for a cotton. It's not too hard on the wrists and knits up soft (after washing). I'll use it again.

The wool is gorgeous and easy to use. I could not find fault with it. The colour was even and some of the best wool I have used to date.

Comments about Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece:
This is a very good choice for a summer sweater. I am very happy with how it is knitting up in size 9 needles for the Liesl pattern. It is much easier on the hands than 100% cotton yarn, but you can't really tell it has wool in it. Nice blend. My only caveat would be that for joining ends, a braided join works best as you can't do felted joins with cotton yarn. I went on YouTube to learn the braided join. Also, being cotton it will snag, so protect from pets and other snaggy situations while knitting!

Comments about Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece:
I used this to make a sweater for a friend and it ended up being very soft and easy to care for. I have really sharp knitting needles so there were some moments that the yarn would split but all in all, it was nice. I love the color choices as well.

Comments about Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece:
I live in the Pacific Northwest in a very temperate climate, so Cotton Fleece is a perfect weight to wear many months of the year. I especially like it for sweaters for my husband as it is not shiny like many cotton yarns. Knits and drapes well - great yarn.
