Comments about Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk:
I really liked this yarn! I used it to knit a shawl, and was really pleased with the end result. Fabric was soft and had very nice drape. Was easy to tink (not that I would ever need to do that).

Comments about Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk:
Love the deep rich color! Knitting socks for a gift. I have found that the yarn is pilling even before the socks are off the needles, so I'm not sure how they will wear long term. But I will definitely use this again, it's been a pleasure to knit with otherwise.

Comments about Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk:
I used this yarn to make gloves. The added silk made the yarn slicker than I'm used to, but once I got used to it, it was fine. There were several places in the yarn that had slubs or weirdness in the spinning or plying. I had to break and do a join because it was unusable in those spots.

Comments about Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk:
I've always loved Cascade Heritage, and Heritage Silk is even better. The hand is amazing, it renders stitches extremely well, and the color shows up beautifully on the yarn. I'd make almost anything that touches the skin out of this.

I am knitting a lace sock with this yarn now and have frogged the same rows repeatedly. You cannot tell. Now there is a great yarn! And I love the subtle shine and the vibrant color.

Comments about Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk:
This is a lovely yarn. I purchased it to make a large shawl for my sister, who is due with her first baby this summer. I wanted to make a shawl that she could use as a nursing cover or baby blanket or swaddle - multipurpose gear for a new momma! This fits the bill as it is machine washable AND soft and lovely. In fact, although I normally wouldn't use superwash wool for adult garments (other than socks, naturally), I would absolutely use this yarn for other items. I'd love a sweater out of it.
Please note, there is no nylon in this yarn, so I'm not sure it would be very good for socks.
