Cascade Yarns Heritage 150

Cascade Heritage 150 is a huge 150-gram skein of a merino superwash and nylon blend yarn that's perfect for socks and more. The solid colors make it great for colorwork too. With 492 yards per skein, it's an economical choice as well.  Made in Peru.

Comments about Cascade Yarns Heritage 150:

Heritage 150 is a great sock yarn for the men in my life. It is very slightly heavier than most sock yarns, and there is plenty of yarn in one skein for a pair of socks for those big feet. Not a lot of colors, but they are well and consistently dyed. Strong enough to last for years with regular wearing. I machine wash (in mesh bag), but don't use dryer.

Great Value for Price, but some problems

        • White Yarn Disappointing

        Best Uses

Comments about Cascade Yarns Heritage 150:

Although the dyed yarns were fantastic, I was extremely disappointed with the texture and quality of the undyed yarn, color way "Snow". While the dyed yarns were soft and plush, the texture of this yarn was similar to common kitchen twine, and the undyed yarn was so much thinner in gauge than the dyed yarns that I could not use them together in the same project. I would readily buy the dyed yarns again, but take a pass on the white yarn--it simply isn't worth the trouble.

I was looking for a solid that I could use with multiple sock yarn left overs. This works perfectly.

I do not like this yarn for socks. It is too
heavy. I am going try to make some hats. I
                    ordered this yarn by mistake.
