Really excellent product!
The base colours are diverse and versatile, and the flecks of Donegal tweed give this yarn a gorgeous rustic look. It knits up very quickly and is soft and drapes nicely.

I use this yarn regularly for chunky cowls, headbands and scarves.

great wool, but not for baby!
I purchased this to make a baby sweater. The colors were great, but the yarn was simply too coarse.

Comments about Cascade Yarns 128 Tweed:
One Skein knits up a great pair of mittens.
The flecks in the yarn add something extra to the overall look. And the wool keeps hands toasty without being scratchy. Love it!!

Comments about Cascade Yarns 128 Tweed:
I especially like the tweed version of this yarn, as does the recipient of the completed items. It knits up quickly. It seems as though this yarn is being phased out. I'd try the regular 128, but the color flecks add that little extra touch.
One draw back for me is that items made from this yarn must be hand washed.

I use this yarn to knit little chunky beanies. The colors are amazing & it knits up quickly. The yarn isn't SUPER soft, but soft enough for most people. I am a big fan of this yarn.

Comments about Cascade Yarns 128 Tweed:
I used this to make a beanie hat and so far its working out great! I've finished one ball of yarn and there was no shedding or snagging. I also love the little bits of multi-color pieces in the tweed that give the hat some added contrast. The yarn is also very soft and not scratchy like some wool.

Comments about Cascade Yarns 128 Tweed:
This is just a really soft, chunky, richly coloured tweed yarn... perfect for cabled and aran cardies and jackets. It works up quickly and is bulky but light, making it perfect for longer coats and jackets without too much drop from the weight of all that yarn! I LOVE it :D)

Loved the color, bought this to make a felted bag. It is not 100% wool so it took some work to felt (knew this before I started) but love the results!
