My problem was not yarn, but interface--making a fine selection of color online was a waste of time. Neither color I bought looked like the photo--I know there is a difference in monitors so I checked out color on two machines. Still, a big discrepancy--"Midnight Heather" looks like a medium blue on screen but is actually very dark like... midnight. (I took a chance I'd get what I was looking at, but should have believed the name.) "Turquoise Pebble" is much greener than turquoise. Settled for rather than hassle a return, but a little annoyed. Not sure I'd buy from the site again. If I had a picture, I'd upload it.

I made a very nice tote bag with this yarn. It knitted up well...double yarn...and felted well after a few runs in the washer. It held it's color and has drawn compliments from strangers.

I absolutely love this yarn. Wool is the way to go. I have tried acrylic yarns and the difference is amazing. It is not itchy and I love working with it. It is so soft and keeps it's shape no matter how heavy the project gets. I love to crochet afghans and now know I will never use anything else. Thankyou soooooo much.

I've used Cascade 220 for two hats and a lovely pair of Irish Hiking Mitts (free pattern on Ravelry). All of the products have come out wonderfully stretchy, soft, and warm. Highly recommend.

I bought this for projects for charity for church, from the Topsy Turvy book, and also for the World Sweater from the 1990's, so I need lots of colors, good price, good knitting quality. Reading the reviews, I agree. It does need to be balled, as it comes in hanks. Knits nicely, nothing fancy, but a go-to worsted weight yarn. I'm told by others it felts well. Not the superwash, of course. I doubt it sheds, no idea about pilling.
