I found this yarn very easy to knit. So soft. It was virtually "unsplittable" while knitting. It definitely has thin and thick texture, and the thinner areas can be broken with a good tug. So, not good for projects that get stressed because it will stretch and get weak. I used the cranberry color for a summer cardigan and the dye left color on my hands while I knitted, so I'd recommend you take possible color transfer into account when you choose a color. While it makes for a beautiful yarn, darker colors may be highly saturated. And, of course, with the silk, it sheds a little. Still, with those cautions, I loved using this yarn and would buy it again.

I really enjoy working with this yarn! It is so soft, drapey, and despite the fact it has a cotton content, it is extremely light weight! I use it for tank tops, tunics, and other summer tops because it isn't weighty, and knit on 6s (for me), the end result is airy, without being see through.

I love the texture of this yarn! It's so easy to crochet with. For some reason the combination of silk and cotton is better than either alone. I made a scarf for my daughter that worked up quickly because I didn't want to put it down.

The only problem I can point out is that the yarn might not be able to take stress on a seam if you are making a seamed garment. The scarf I made had no seams of course, but when I pulled the first measure of yarn from the ball it pulled apart. But no problem after that, so maybe it was a one-time weakness in the strand.

I have another color I'm going to use on a top-down (no seams) sweater for myself.

I would definitely purchase more!

I was not in love with this yarn. It sheds and I just don't like the texture and returned all but the one skein that I was swatching with. I usually like Classic Elite products, this one not so much.
