I bought several skeins of cleckheaton to make fingerless gloves for my friends at work. They knitted up beautifully, showed the stitch pattern well, and was so easy to work with. They are beautiful colors and the yarn is soft but not flimsy or limp. Everyone loves their gloves, and now I'm ordering more to make a sweater for my son!

I'm totally new to crochet, but this yarn is so easy to work with. It's springy and forgiving and feels great in hand. I'm still mid-project, but am enjoying it so far!

This yarn knitted up takes the abuse of boyfriends, husbands and teenagers. Washer, dryer, whatever your loved one can do to it, the yarns maintains its beauty, strength, softness no matter how long it was balled up in a work boot or cramed under the bed. There is nothing NOT great about this hidden gem!

I have made countless socks with this yarn ( so has my mother, my friends, etc...) and I wash them just like any other socks. After years they are still great! It is my favorite sock yarn! Knits up quick too!

I made a sweater for my husband out of this yarn over 10 years ago and it is still holding up great. He wears it all the time and is very hard on it - throws it on the floor, etc. It is just now starting to get a little fuzzy. It is machine washable but I always hand wash all our sweaters so I don't know how machine washing would affect the wear. Great yarn and great value!
