Yarn Grab Bags
WEBS Supreme Grab Bags
Supreme Grab Bags are made up of high quality closeout yarns. You don't get to make many choices, but you save up to 60-70% on the cost of yarn. Bags can contain ten skeins of either 50 or 100 grams per skein, and shipping charges will be calculated based on that weight.
Color, fiber, and weight selection is random and subject to availability, but if you have general preferences, you can include up to two preferences in the special instructions window during checkout and we'll try our best to fill them, but we can't guarantee requests.
Please note: Grab bags are a final sale. They are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

I've order two supreme grab bags and one single skein grab bag. My two preferences: natural fibers and worsted weight or heavier. I received a great mix of yarns, and my preferences were honored in almost all of the yarns. Sure, there are two or three yarns for which I do not care, but with a grab bag, that is expected. I am sure I will find a use at some point.
Overall, I am happy with what I received and look forward to trying out a bunch of new yarn brands and fibers.

I received two good yarns, one nice one in a hideous color (mustard lace, anyone?) and two absolutely duds including a bag of acrylic yarn--this on a supreme yarn order. Having successfully purchased grab bags in the past, I was stunned at how awful this one was. When I called to complain, the nice woman in customer service mentioned that they are low on closeout inventory right now and that might have something to do with the selection I got. Honestly, it's not worth the extra $ you save off the sale price for everything, especially when you realize you're going to have a tough time knitting some of this yarn into something appealing. You are better off getting exactly what you want and still getting a bargain.

Webs customer service is great and very responsive if an issue should arise. I am quite satisfied with the service I received, and have recommended this site to friends.

Comments about WEBS Supreme Grab Bags:
I agree with many of you- I got 5 bags- all 50gram and all available on closeout for almost the same money as I paid-- only one of the bags I would use and only if I bought 4 additional balls. I specifically asked for no sock yarn and got some anyway...in an ugly colour....And all were a polyester blend....I'll just be waiting for sales next time

I didn't know what the single skein grab bag would be like but I am pleasantly pleased! Cannot wait to dig into knitting all the one skein projects.

Comments about WEBS Supreme Grab Bags:
I'm a big fan of surprises, so I'm never disappointed. This being said, I was hoping that perhaps one of the bags would have 100g skeins. My bag had 2 bulky, 2 worsted weight and one fingering, in a nice range of colors. One is cotton, two are wool cashmere blends, one is alpaca, and one is merino. I have no doubt that I'll be crocheting some very nice things in the very near future...
Comments about WEBS Supreme Grab Bags:
I felt I spent a lot of money for what was advertised as "more expensive luxury yarns" and was given cotton and acyriic blends. All the yarns were worsted or bulky weight and colors that were not very attractive. Only yarn that I might have purchased was Araucania merino silk blend. Overall most of the yarn will only be good for charity knitting or for my daughter to play with. Sorry I wasted my money.
Comments about WEBS Supreme Grab Bags:
While the yarns are nice, and some are new to me, I have to agree with the other commenters that I think the savings are a bit overstated on the description. Most of mine are available on the site in the 3.50-5 price range, one is clearly more expensive. In the future, I'd probably just try one skein of something new and then buy the bags I want. Only one is in a colour I really won't like for me, but can use for a gift for someone else.

Comments about WEBS Supreme Grab Bags:
I got 2 nice yarns, 2 industrial wools, and 1 awful yarn (orange fair isle, really?). If you are looking for bargains, just go to the closeout and select what you actually want.
Comments about WEBS Supreme Grab Bags:
The yarns I was sent totally exceeded my expectations! All the yarns were in the weight range I'd requested. I'll be able to make several sweaters, numerous hats and scarves as presents, and a blanket and tote bag. Awesome! I'll also be able to dye some of the yarn, something I've been wanting to try out. The value was a steal, with some of the yarns listed on other sites for over $20 a skein. Just to reiterate, this works out *great* for making presents--especially on a grad student budget. : )
Comments about WEBS Supreme Grab Bags:
3 of the 5 yarns are very nice. The other 2 are ok. I'm a bit disappointed that the original cost of my yarns was between 6.99 and 8.95 a ball. Granted, I saved 65% cmpared to the original prices, but only 35% cmpared to the closeout prices. I was hoping that I'd get at least one bag of yarn that was a bit out of my normal price range.
