This is absolutely beautiful and soft. It's a little hard to work with, though -- the metallic thread has heavy slubs in it and is completely separate from the soft yarn. The two strands tend to separate, and then the large slubs get a little caught in the crochet loops. But the result is pretty spectacular, so it's worth taking the extra time to work with it.
BTW: The metallic thread is as thick as the soft fibers, and is very definitely black.

The yarn I received is much darker than the yarn displayed in the on-line photo, I wasn't pleased about the lack of accuracy, I would've preferred the lighter coloring as shown. I do like the added glitz, it'll be great for scarves, shawls, anything light & airy. Decent price for a mohair blend.

I have knit a few shawls with Broadway and many scarfs. It has a nice drape, but light weight. It has a nice slight sparkle thread that runs with the mohair, but not scratchy at all. Good sale price. Enjoy.
