I've made several hats and a poncho out of this yarn and all have come out great. I've used both the purple tones and the red, fuchsia. I love the color combinations in each ball and get many complements on them, too. Easy to knit up although there are a few fluffy spots that you just need to rewind onto the strand with a damp finger. I encountered very few knots in the balls. Great sale price.
