Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Montera Discontinued Colors:
This yarn goes quickly and I needed less than 8 skeins to make a cabled sweater.
But it is not really to agreable to knit: not soft as merino & baby alpaca mixes. I should have read the previous reviews...
The color also is a bit different from the one I expected: darker...Monitor problem I guess. But it gives a nice finished sweater.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Montera Discontinued Colors:
This yarn is wonderful for a heavy sweater. Not as coarse, stiff, or scratchy as some wools, but still very warm. Moderately soft. Colors work up gorgeously.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Montera Discontinued Colors:
I have made hats and a felted pincushion from this yarn and I am currently knitting a sweater from it. This is a soft and warm yarn. There is a little shedding during the knitting, but not much. It felts great. The hats are super warm. I knit this on a size 9 for the hats so it is an Aran weight. The colors are bright and have not faded even during the felting. I would like to get more of this yarn.Great yardage!

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Montera Discontinued Colors:
I used Montera to knit a large shawl to wrap around myself and I'm very pleased. It's warm and cozy without being too heavy. The llama and wool took dye a little differently, so the color is deep and rich.
