I crank out the ruffle scarfs... These are my go to project when I don't have a lot of room or can't really pay attention to my knitting. The jazz club on Friday night? Check. The flight from DFW to SFO? Check. Long car rides? Check. Anytime when I want to have some knitting in my hands but can't manage frequent pattern checks, complicated yarn changes, or really, any kind of thought process. And I can't tell you how many times someone has asked me about my knitting when I'm making one of these...or for that matter, bought a scarf from me as it was coming off my needles or put in an order for a specific color. It's great when you're knitting just to have something to knit. And once you get the rhythm down, it's not that much of a pain...you just have to let go of all of your technique and go back to knitting the way you did on day one...
