Having terrible luck finding a thick/thin yarn at my LYS to replace Plymouth Refashion, I bought this to make a caplet. The colors are much flashier in person - brighter, shinier, etc. Didn't care for the colors at all but went ahead and made my project anyway. Don't think I will wear it much. I would return the yarn if it hadn't been an inexpensive purchase.

Comments about Queensland Collection Mist:
I like the unevenness and texture the thick-thin yarn gives to scarves along with the variegated colors. I bought two skeins and was able to make 3 scarves. The 2 I gave as gifts were very well received!

Comments about Queensland Collection Mist:
The colors are sophisticated and it is easy to add other yarns and change the range of color within a sweater. So: at the bottom edge I added in gold then yellow yarns and later light pure blues a bit of brown and turquoise. Gives lots of room to experiment. Using a second and third yarn creates a more uniform fabric - modifies the thick/thin slub quality of the yarn.

Comments about Queensland Collection Mist:
Made three super-quick, super-impressive-looking scarves and cowls as last-minute gifts. Two skeins was the perfect size for each, and all the recipients loved the colors, whether bright or muted.
The thick & thin quality is balanced just right, IMHO, for a lovely fabric that's not too dense or stiff.
One of the gifts had dropped stitches throughout for a laddered pattern and there was no issue with the wool breaking or knotting or being otherwise unfriendly.
Just love this stuff!

Comments about Queensland Collection Mist:
This is my absolute favorite yarn to date---the color mix is superb (mostly tertiary colors), great for reverse stockinette at top of dropped sleeves and upper section of sweater, looks like a $500
sweater, soft & warm. I wish Queensland would
continue producing this incredible yarn--my favorite of all Queensland yarns as well. Also would be terrific for children. Lightweight yet so cozy.

I have been so satisfied with the price and quality of your yarn that I no longer go to retail shops to buy yarn. I always thought you had to actually see the color and feel of the yarn before you purchased any. You do an excellent job of portraying y our product.

Comments about Queensland Collection Mist:
I used this yarn to make a drop stitch cowl for my boyfriend's brother's fiancée (whew!) The yarn knits quickly and is very beautiful. I have knit it on its own, doubled stranded it, etc. I cannot express how soft and pleasing it is visually to knit up. I have paired it with lion brand hometown (shown below) and will now pair it with Paton's classic wool roving and bernal roving to imitate texture but have ends of a project that are all the same thicknesses. I have 10 balls of the teal, 2 of natural, 8 of amber lights, 8 of tropical sunset, and 2 bright greens. I love love love the yarn, I wish I had more money right now to buy the other colors. I even sold a friend on this yarn to do combo orders, heh.
