I knit an infinity scarf with this yarn. It worked up nicely. No knots, fraying or splitting. It has nice shading and is so soft. A joy to knit with and wear.

Comments about Knitting Fever Luxury Mohair:

I made one cowl with, # 7, 16" circular needles. The piece came out great looking, with the colors dispersed nicely. It's incredibly warm! I'm using two skeins of the "same" color to make a hooded/cowl. I'm switching colors every 4th round and it's working out well. The skeins are very different color wise, but go together very well.

I am blending it with a solid color \sparkle thread on size 17 needles for a very nice loft. tried it with worsted weight and lost lovely color range. I bought 6 colorways and like them all.

Comments about Knitting Fever Luxury Mohair:

I had read another reviewer's comments about the white core thread running through the skein, and thought maybe it was just white-ish, or only noticeable to real nitpickers. My husband, who barely knows yarn from yo-yo string, walked up and said, "That looks weird." I have to agree -- pretty darn noticeable, especially on a darker colorway like 16.

And speaking of colorways, I should've listened to comments on how the dye lots varied from each other and the photo. My olive/yellow is actually black/muddy ochre -- well, mostly black. Except for that white core.

This was going to be part of a chemo cap for my dear MIL. It's a little too funereal and kind of cheap looking to give to someone who has knitted & crocheted all her life. Going to sell/trade/give this away and chalk it up to a lesson in trusting the commenters!

Used this to make an evening cape from Alison Crowther-Smith's book, "Lacy Knits: 20 Delicate Projects in Soft, Luxurious Mohair-Silk Yarns." It turned out absolutely wonderful and surprisingly super warm. It's so snuggly and soft. The texture of the yarn gives it an elegant look. It is very light weight. These dyed colorways are pretty and much more affordable than the Rowan counterpart.

The colors in the yarn were absolutely beautiful, BUT there was a white string that all the mohair fibers were attached to, which ran through the length of the yarn. This white string did not get dyed. The only thing my eye saw was the white string.
