Comments about Plymouth Yarn Covington:
I used this in conjuction with another yarn and absolutely loved the way it worked out.
Sometimes it's dangerous working 2 different types of yarn together but because this is such an easy yarn it combined nicely.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Covington:
I have knitted/crocheted everything from scarves, hats, cowls, afghans, baby blankets and yes even a sweater with this yarn. Easy and quick to use. Since wool seems to make my hands itch, I have often changed a "suggested" yarn to this cotton. Have not had any problems with splitting, piling, etc. Love the colors as well!!

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Covington:
I'm using this yarn for the daisy-stitched surplice top, #6, from Vogue Knitting Sp/Sm 2011. Sometimes I think I can make a better yarn choice than the pattern designer, but here I think this yarn is perfectly matched to pattern. Delighted with the soft sheen, silky texture, smooth stitches. The multiple plies give the yarn a light springiness when knitted that combats cotton's dense fuzziness. Looks like it's blended with silk, the yarn has such nice shine and drape.
It's going to look great in this pattern, but I think I would also like it in a cute crocheted sun hat, or a lace wrap/shawl to go with a summer dress. Covington is a heavier weight yarn so I might not want to make a huge project with it, but it's great for a summer top or accessory.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Covington:
I use this yarn mostly to make childrens hats
It crochets smoothly and gives a wonderful
definition to my stitches. The yarn is very durable and my hats still look like new after
washing.
I am thrilled to have such a beautiful color
assortment to choose from.
I have had absolutely no problems at all with this yarn and would highly recommend it.
