Louisa Harding Fleuris
Louisa Harding Fleuris is an exquisite blend of bamboo and wool. The sophisticated colors and the delicate sheen from the bamboo pair beautifully. This worsted weight would be fantastic for garments and accessories. Made in China.

Comments about Louisa Harding Fleuris:
It's working up into a nice sweater. Rich color. Faint sheen that's attractive.
Service and delivery comments:
Not all my balls of yarn were from the same dye lot. That's terrible! I ordered 5 or six balls of brown, and one is a different shade--when I worked it into the back of the sweater it xreated a discernable line. I think I'm through ordering from WEBS. This is the second time I've experienced poor salesmanship with the order.

Comments about Louisa Harding Fleuris:
Two of my knitting friends purchased this yarn at the same time as I did for three different projects from the Louisa Harding #24, Chinoiserie book. We all wanted different colors, but the only color available was a pretty dark grey (Meteor). One of my skeins had so many shredded and unraveled parts in it that I couldn't use it. All three of us had numerous skeins that had frequent knots. Fortunately, we all have been able to hide the bad parts of the yarn in our projects.
These problems may be due to the fact that this yarn is discontinued and we got all that WEBS had in stock. One of my friends has made two other garments in other colors and did not have as many knots or shredding.
Otherwise, this yarn is easy to knit with and looks great in finished garments with cables, yarnovers and other unique stitch details.
I suggest purchasing extra yarn in case one or more skeins are defective. If using a pattern from the book listed above, you should also purchase more skeins than listed as all three of us ran out of yarn for our projects and had to find it from other sources.

Th yarn is really nice to work with, but its tendency to unravel or snag individual threads slowed me down a bit.

Comments about Louisa Harding Fleuris:
I used this yarn for a multi colored blanket. The colors are very rich, the touch super soft.
I would not recommend it for garments though, because the knit is fairly stretchy.
I have washed my blanket in the washing machine on gentle circle and cold and it came out perfectly fine.
It is a petty that the yarn is on closeout. I enjoyed knitting with it.

Comments about Louisa Harding Fleuris:
I haven't used this yet, but I could not pass up the lovely rich green as my grandson loves green. I plan to make him a sweater, if the yarn does not set off my wool allergies. The little I have handled it so far is fine.
