    Comments about S.Charles Collezione Tivoli:

This is soft yarn to work with and the finished product has beautiful luster, good stitch definition and lovely drape. I made a shawl with it And it made a lovely gift. Because of the silk content, it does not hold up well with too many repairs or frogging back, which is the only drawback I encountered. I am sorry that it is being discontinued, as I would buy more.

I used the Tivoli yarn in a beautiful Raspberry shade to knit an open work slouch hat,it is a softish yarn, the colour is even and it has a nice amount of stretch, perfect for hats or gloves.

        Comments about S.Charles Collezione Tivoli:

I made a Saroyan shawl (by Liz Abinante) with four balls of the onyx (black). I used US9's. This is a 3-ply yarn, and although there were no knots in any of the skeins, there were splices in individual plies in each ball (as few as 1, as many as 3).
I also bought a ball of brown and two balls of dark amethyst. The black and brown colors were accurate, but the dark amethyst WAS NOT. If the color had been accurate I would not have bought it. Now I have two skeins of a dull, ugly color and I don't know what to do with it.
