I love Debbie Bliss, and DB Rialto Chunky is no exception. With two balls of yarn and 4-6 hours I had a nice cabled hat that is warm, feels good to the touch, and is machine washable. A perfect holiday present.

I used this yarn to knit scarf and hand warmers. They are great. Soft to touch and great quality.
The only thing that I don't like it is: I have to use 6 balls to knit a regular length scarf because one chunky ball only has 66 yards. My scarf has so many "joins" to be taken care of which I'm not good at. :(

I used this for a lightweight outer jacket for a child. It is light enough to be comfortable and the yarn is dense enough to add warmth.

I made a hat for my son who is living in Pennsylvania. It is warm and soft but kept the shape of the hat well. It is also washable which was essential. I had to unravel my pattern twice to get the size right and the yarn held up beautifully even after three knittings with same ball of yarn.
