I have knit dozens of baby blankets over the years. I have been using this yarn exclusively for the past few. The blankets are beautiful and soft to begin with. They soften even more with age. Everyone raves about them and they wash well! This is a resilient and elastic yarn.

I couldn't justify spending full price for this yarn for a blanket--hats, yes. But on sale,it made the perfect gift for a special baby.
Caveat: machine wash on "hand wash" cycle and then lay flat to dry. Washes up beautifully and the mom has been forewarned about "shrinkage"!!!!

I used this yarn to knit Debbie Bliss' Duffel Coat for my grandson. The stitch definition was amazing and it was so soft and easy to use. I would suggest using Addi Lace or similar needles and watch the stitches fly. I would definitely use this yarn again, and I am admittedly a bit of a yarn snob.
