Comments about Katia Triana Lux:

This yarn is still one of my favorites for making scarves to sell.but as months have gone by have noticed that Triana has lost some of its quality control. This may be due to pressures on the manufacturers to keep up with demand,but it not unusual now to find two knots a skein where it has been tied together. Still buy it like crazy,but it is disappointing-has nothing to do with WEBS,but that is the reason for four stars. Given the price that is charged,and given that on a few occasions have bought similar products from local big box store at half the price which had no knots or shreds,wonder what is happening. Do buy it though as the knots can be worked around and end product is very pretty.

The very first skein I used, had two (2) defects in it. In the first part of the skein, there was a knot in it where I had to cut the skein and start over. Then, when I got almost to the end, there was another knot. So far, I have make four (4) of the scarfs. The black and white one that I started on was the one that had the defect. I still have four (4) left. Sure do hope I don't have the same problem!

It is fascinating to knit and fast.

Tends to twist - helps to rewind on a card or roll.

This is so fun to knit with. It takes awhile to get used to using the loops instead of working with a single piece of yarn, but it's fast and makes up into the most fun ruffled items.
