Katia self ruffing yarns make beautiful scarfs. I have made several of the Katia Rizos for college aged nieces with hats to match and they have been thrilled with how stunning the scarf is.
This is quality yarn and much preferred to some of the new look alikes. It works up quickly and holds its shape.

It makes a beautifl scarf and was fun to knit with it.
I was disappointed in the flaw in the yarn but I was able to knit it so it did not show. There was a white tag at the flaw that was difficult to remove. There was also a lot of black threads that were tied up into the yarn and I do not know the reason for that.

Checking for fabric imperfections is a quality control issue, I have the pink color, my daughter gave it to me and when I am at the middle of the scarf I found a big knot then the knitting thread is unraveled and about 45 inches apart there is another knot. QUALITY CONTROL!!! too many flows....
It is pretty, works fast, is soft, QUALITY CONTROL RATED VERY POOR!!!!
