Great yarn
I'm on my second blanket crocheted using this yarn, and it's great. The colors are wonderful and I love the weight.

I bought this yarn for a sweater but ended up using it on a shawl. It was very slippery and I had trouble winding it as the yarn kept falling off the ball in my hand. I tried using KnitPicks Acrylic needles for a little resistance but the yarn split terribly. I then tried KP's Harmony (wood) but still no luck. I then went with KP's nickel needles as these are the sharpest needles I have, and it was better but the yarn was so slippery that it was quite a challenge keeping the stitches on the needles. I finally gave up. I love the sheen the yarn has, and the weight is great, but I found it very difficult and frustrating to work with. Because the yarn definition was so good, it hid nothing and each split stich was so obvious. I was constantly going back and fixing split stitches I probably will not use this yarn, or maybe I'll use it in conjunction with another yarn for a bulky coverlet.

Comments about Berroco Weekend:
This yarn is easy to work with and has enough body to make a slouchy beret that isn't TOO slouchy...it's perfect. I've now bought the yarn in a half dozen colors. Also, WEBS service representatives are wonderful, so very helpful, and the delivery of products is fast. I'm sold on using WEBS!

I am in the process of knitting a pullover sweater for myself. Being a novice, it is taking me a while to finish, but so far it is coming along nicely.

Comments about Berroco Weekend:
I bought several skeins of this yarn for a baby-blanket I designed for my sister-in-law, who is expecting. I love love love the colours offered, great for a variety of baby items. I like the weight of the yarn, and find the stitch definition to be great. The yarn is soft, works up quickly, and feels great in the hands (some yarns I don't like to work with for too long at a time because it hurts my hands).
The only complaint I have is that it can be a little splitty. I had to frog a couple rows a few times to go back and pick up the rest of the stitch that didn't get picked up because of its splittiness (I'm a bit of a perfectionist). Overall, though, it was a pleasure to work with and the splittiness will not deter me from buying this yarn again.
Service and delivery comments:
Yarn.com is the only website I go to for my yarn needs. Their service and delivery is excellent, and the product always arrives in great condition. I have never once had an issue with any of the yarn that I've bought here :).
