I use this yarn to make hats and booties for babies, which I sell online, at local craft fairs and shops. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this yarn. It is always consistent, easy to crochet with and super soft. I find it to be the perfect yarn for baby items. It also washes like a dream - I couldn't ask for more.

I used this yarn for a baby blanket--I used 4 different colors. I loved the color availability and feel of this yarn--very soft and comfy. Plus, it's machine washable. However, the weights of the different colors were different--kind of a big deal when knitting color blocks for the blanket. In addtion, some colors had a few knots and were hard to find the center-pull within the hank. Nearing the end of the project, I had to use another hank and all was going well until I got to a huge knotted mess within the center of the hank. It took some time to undo the knotted mess since the yarn is fine (DK weight). Had I not been near the end of the blanket, I proabably would have used another yarn. Once I got past that, I should say it did make a nice blanket, just not sure I would use this again for such a big project. I wonder if the worsted weight has the same issues?

    Comments about Berroco Comfort DK:

The order was not correct. However, extra yarn skeins were put in to make up the difference. I was able to make the colors in order work. I have not completed my project as of yet to give full rating performance. However, I am please so far.

      Comments about Berroco Comfort DK:

I love this yarn mainly because it is the softest acrylic I have ever used and it comes in beautiful colors! I designed a sweater with this yarn for my latest book & my daughter begged me for the sweater. It's still with the publisher for the photo shoot, so I'm making another one to surprise her for Christmas.

            Comments about Berroco Comfort DK:

I've used this yarn before to crochet a crib blanket. I needed to crochet a coverlet for an antique trundle bed. After testing out many other yarns in my stash I came back to old faithful. I'm almost finished. I'm using cadet blue. It will be beautiful against the cherry wood of the trundle bed and coordinate nicely with the quilt I'm making for the overhead rope bed.

            Comments about Berroco Comfort DK:

I really like the softness of this yarn. It does have a tendency to split/unravel, but not a big issue. The colors are what really sold me on this yarn. when I showed this Comfort DK to my "yarn" friends they thought it was more expensive then it was.

A wonderful Webs price, beautiful colors. Made a baby blanket using Bitter Sweet brown. Was disappointed that it was so easy to split the yarn, more like a bunch of single threads loosely wrapped together. Perhaps a lighter color yarn would be easier to work with as the softness, color choices and price are the plus.

Used this to make a cowl and it knit up with enough elasticity to make stiches move from needle to needle without strain. The final cowl was super soft and draped beautifully.
