Not what it appears

I like to work with worsted weight yarns, and I knit sweaters, coats, etc. The description stated it varied in weight, and I certainly received the light weight. It would be fine for mittens, scarves, and hats, at best a dk weight. I am returning it because the pattern I wanted it for calls for #7-#8 needles, 4 stitches per 1" and this yarn is way too fine. Lovely feel and color, and a good price.

feels very nice
from Wilson, NY
I hand-wound the skein into a ball. There were no knots or splices. The yarn did want to stick to itself, but this was not a problem with winding it by hand. I am knitting a feather and fan scarf on US7 needles, but I may go up a size. The yarn feels very nice and soft. Colors are pretty. Color changes are subtle and about every 6"-8". I am using the blues, I gave my daughter the greens, and I still have the beiges to use. I like this yarn.

Like it very much
from North Carolina
I used it to make a shawl, the design is called Imagine When. I'm almost done and will post it on ravelry soon. Enjoyed working with the yarn very much. Got the blue/green colors and it looks very attractive. Great sale price!
