I just read the note about frolicking in this yarn. Too funny, but true! It's sumptuous and I NEVER use that word. I'm knitting a poncho with it and using a falling leaf lace pattern - great stitch definition. Unfortunately there's not much yardage and since I'm not following a pattern I bought far less than I realized I needed so I just had to buy more. I'm already in deep so by the end of my project I'll have a $240 phoncho!! It'll be great though.

I used this to make a Classic Beret which has a lace pattern. It is impossible to rip out to fix mistakes because you cant see the space in the center of the yarn where it came off the needle, since it is sort of pre knit. Made worse by the fact that I was using charcoal grey. Just maddening ! Beware.

Made a beautiful sweater from the top down pattern with this yarn, couldn't be more pleased. If you are the type of knitter who makes sweaters and don't wear them, with this yarn you WILL!!

Comments about Rowan Lima:
I have knitted 2 scarves and a hat with this yarn. One scarf was a 2x2 ribbed cowl. The yarn does look a bit strange in the ball, but is lovely to work with and results are lovely as well. So soft and "coosh"y. It was my first attempt at a hat and I ripped ripped it out and started over 5 or 6 times. The yarn withstood the activity and didn't show any fraying. Soft and lite weight . I love it and would also frolic in it!

Comments about Rowan Lima:
I love this yarn and use it every chance I get. It is soft but unlike many alpaca yarns, it does not shed. I have made cardigans, sweaters and a throw for my sofa in this yarn and I can't get enough.

Comments about Rowan Lima:
Really, what could be better than Lima? It is soft (due to fiber content) yet sturdy (due to the chain construction). I just love it for everything, except maybe baby clothes. The colors are as stellar as most Rowan yarns. I have bought it in several color ways and love every one of them! Only downside: it is a bit expensive.

Comments about Rowan Lima:
Made the best scarf in the world with this yarn! It is super soft and lofty. I now am a Lima addict! I own several colors and am planning on using for fingerless gloves, capes, and a vest.

Comments about Rowan Lima:
Lima is a wonderfully soft alpaca yarn with a unique chain construction. Unlike some alpaca yarns, Lima is NOT scratchy and the chainette construction makes this a light, lofty yarn that will still show off cables nicely.
