I have just about completed a beautiful cardigan and can't wait to begin another. The yarn is soft as a baby's skin.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande:
I have not knit with wool for years due to allergies. I tried this yarn to see if I could knit with it and it knit wonderfully and I had no reaction to the yarn. I was thrilled.....First purchase was from a private yarn shop and it was somewhat pricey but well worth it.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande:
I have sensitive skin and can't get near most wools but I live in this one. Made several beautiful cowls and can't get enough of it. The yarn yields a nice halo and stitch definition fades slightly. Springy yarn- I'd highly recommend it for projects requiring a bulky yarn.
Comments about Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande:
I have made a beautiful scarf and cowl from this scrumptious, softest of soft yarn. I have knit with many different quality yarns and this is by far the softest, non-shedding, non-splitting, cuddly yarn. While it is a bulky weight, the squishiness of it makes it knit up smooth and sleek. I gave the scarf to my "fashionista" sister who absolutely loved it and I am keeping the cowl for myself. I hope to use the ivory color for a "sleeveless cardi" that I saw on Ravelry which calls for a bulky yarn. Can't wait! Am definitely buying this yarn again and again.
Comments about Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande:
I love this yarn for making thick, super warm scarves.
Comments about Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Grande:
I made a simple cabled scarf using 2 skeins--it feels so wonderful. My skin is a bit sensitive however, so it is slightly itchy on my bare neck, but I spend most of my time petting it with my hands!
