Love this yarn, it is really pretty for the price point. You can create a very angelic pair of booties with one skein.

The description says worsted weight, it is not. Maybe a light worsted, but that is even pushing it. It knits beautifully on a US 5.

I was knitting Santa's beard on a Christmas stocking and it was too thin. I couldn't double it as I was knitting from both ends. Later, when I could double it, it looked a lot better. What I had previously was A.C.A Supreme 100% pure Angora and Fox Brand Superchoice French Angora both made in France-much nicer.

My number one concern is where the Angora came from. I really want to know if the rabbits are treated humanely. I plan to follow up on this. I absolutely love this yarn!

        Comments about Plymouth Yarn Angora:

This yarn is beautiful, however fairly expensive for the amount of yarn that is on the ball. It is very fine and I had to combine 4 strands to accomplish my pattern, yet it worked up beautifully.

Incredibly soft with that perfect halo you expect with angora. The colors are rich in intensity. I made a cowl and matching mitts but someday I would love a cardigan out if this yarn.

                  Comments about Plymouth Yarn Angora:

I am working 3 strands of yarn, the Plymouth Angora, a lace silk and a strand of glitter all in the same teal/turqoise colorway. The combination is stunning! Soft, fuzzy with a subtle glimmer. There were no sweater patterns for this yarn but I wanted to make a holiday sweater so I found a pattern caling for a mohair and used the above combination! Only wish the yarn came in larger balls.
