Comments about Debbie Bliss Prima:
Knitted a shawl for my mother back home. As we do not heat rooms at night where I come from this was a shawl for her to sleep with. She says its soft warm and best of all not itchy to the touch, almost like cotton yet warm like wool.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Prima:
Used this yarn for a slouch hat for my 7 year old. She loves it. It was sooooo easy to knit up. The yarn practically knits itself. Its texture is lovely. I'ld use this over and over again.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Prima:
This yarn is a gem to knit my short sleeve sweeter. The brown is a yummy color, but each skein has 3 knots and several tears, ugh.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Prima:
It's a very soft yarn, but I found that I had to go down from a 4mm to a 3.5mm to get the right gauge. It's very heavy in a long-sleeved sweater with a hood so wouldn't recommend it. I ripped it out and used it for something else. There were a few knots in a couple of the skeins. This shouldn't happen in expensive yarn, but, unfortunately, it does.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Prima:
I made a baby blanket for a friend out of this yarn two years ago and it is still in beautiful condition. It has been washed and dried on medium. This is my favorite yarn that I have ever worked with! It is as soft as cashmere, but drapes beautifully and is cooler. I could see how it could get heavy in a big sweater... but for a shawl, scarf, blanket, camisole, something where you want it to drape -- it's so yummy.
Comments about Debbie Bliss Prima:
Contrary to the WEBs descriptioon, this yarn is NOT machine washable - it piles horribly even on the delicate hand wash cycle, and is completely unwearable thereafter. Aside from the washing issue, there are knots in every skein, the yarn likes to split, and the finished sweater weighs a ton - it's like wearing a brick and about as comfortable.
