Comments about Noro Shiraito:
I purchased 3 hanks to knit Noro's mobius cowl, making it narrower than the pattern called for. Could never knit to gauge, but that did not matter with this pattern. Had enough left over to make a collar from Vogue Knitting's Sping/Summer 2013 issue. Although this yarn is hand dyed, I did not expect such major color differences (in quantity) among the 3 hanks. E.g., there was lots of green, tan, aqua, and rust but hardly any blue in one hank; the other hanks had lots of all the colors.

Comments about Noro Shiraito:
Had several false starts as it was difficult to choose between creating a fabric with crochet or knitting, then stockinette or garter stitch. Settled on a garter stitch for the shrug as it gave strength to this somewhat delicate, easily broken yarn. The fingerless gloves worked up well in crochet. Either way the colors glow!
