This is a great yarn for summer weight projects, either knitted or crocheted. It is, in fact, my new favorite summer weight yarn! I have crocheted with it, knitted with it, ripped it out and redone it, and it holds up beautifully...no pilling, no splitting, no signs of stress. The texture is silky soft. The visual contrasts are quite interesting with lovely tonal colors that move throughout the smooth polished cotton and the shiny rayon transitions. This yarn is simply exquisite!

knitted a lace pattern shawl with this yarn - it blocked out wonderfully and the drape is great. The different textures add interest, but they don't influence the gauge. The shiny sections in this yarn are a great contrast to the matte sections and the different colors coming with the three different textures are very subtle and tone in tone.

I love the soft feel of this yarn as I knit . Sanibel has beautiful stitch definition in the stockinette stitch of the Classic Elite Bayou pattern which I completed.

I am making a Drapey Cowl Neck Tank Top with this yarn. I am about half way done and loving it. The yarn is soft and drapey and will be perfect for this pattern.
